GRAPHIC DESIGN INTENSIVE MASTER CLASSES BY LEONID SLAVIN AND DMITRY KARPOV (RUSSIA)

In 2 - 3 May 2015, Baku will host two-day workshop with the participation of lecturers from Moscow – teachers from the British Higher School of Art and Design. Master classes will bi held in organization by YARAT Contemporary Art Centre and PARADOX Studio, wirh support by Beat Group, McCann Baku, and Pasha Travel.
The main topics of the intensive workshop will be visual communication and the development of creativity. There will be other topics, such as branding, design, teamwork and the development of ideas in a variety of constraints.
The workshop contains an extensive practical part — the participants do not only listen, but also work with their hands and brains.
The practical unit takes up nearly half of the time, and the feedback from the lecturers allows you to gain even more experience and inspiration. The workshop is ideal for the development of teamwork of creative people, teaches intensive imagination, helps to develop concentration, imagination and thinking within the area of design.

Dmitry Karpov
He has worked in the field of design and advertising in various positions and collaborated with Artemy Lebedev Studio in the development of creative projects. Since 2005 he is the curator of the Design in Interactive Environment course at The British Higher School of Art and Design.
