OVERVIEW

Vusal Rahim has come a long way from his upbringing in Ganja. After studying in Baku, he is now an internationally exhibited artist who works across a wide variety of media, including theatre and costume decoration, with vastly different techniques. He focuses his creative energy on reworking common images and human forms through painting, using unexpected colours, shapes and perspectives to shock and question, often capturing his subjects in theatical poses that jar and entice the viewers. He has been internationally exhibited and is a keen contributor in YARAT’s charity programmes.
