LITTLE YARAT PROGRAM FOR JULY

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites you to participate in LITTLE YARAT programme for younger audiences aimed at school age children through to teenagers.

LITTLE YARAT is a playful arts platform for children that enables them to get involved in YARAT’s workshops and interact with local and guest artists.


We are proud to present you the June 2022 programme for Little YARAT workshops at YARAT Centre:

2 july

12:00 (5-7 years old) – Ceramics (Ramina Bocharova)

15:00 (8-12 years old) – Ceramics (Ramina Bocharova)

Working with clay provides a unique opportunity to give free rein to fantasies and turn all ideas into reality. This ceramics workshop will allow children to join the art and develop motor skills in their hands. 


July 3

12:00 (ages 8-12) – Nano art (Nargiz Asgarova)

14:00 (ages 8-12) – Nano art (Nargiz Asgarova)

Participants of the nanoart workshop will try to go into the deep structures of the objects around us and study abstract art. During the master class, children will get a chance to examine various items under a microscope and create their artwork based on what they have researched. 


July 16

A practical master class on 3D printing will allow children to study modern technologies in the field of art and create a model of the installation presented at the YARAT Center exhibition. 


July 30, 31

12:00 (4-7 years old) – İNSƏN (CHINGIZ)

14:00 (8-12 years old) – İNSƏN (CHINGIZ)

Following a small tour through the exhibition, the workshop participants will create their unique works using various techniques and materials. With the help of clay, cardboard, and acrylic paints, everyone will design their installation, which will later become part of the exhibition.


Venue: YARAT Center, Bayil

Registration is a must for participation.

The July program of the Little YARAT master classes that will be held at the Museum of Azerbaijan Painting of XX-XXI centuries:

July 2

12:00 (8-12 years old) – This is how I see myself (Sayali Mammadova)

The workshop participants will draw a self-portrait on watercolor paper using acrylic paints, then add to this portrait clothes and head accessories made of colored paper.


July 16

12:00 (8-12 years old) – The city in my dream (Nargiz Gayyur)

The workshop participants will depict the city of their dreams on canvas. The urban landscape, painted with acrylic paints, will be complemented by colored fabrics, which will add relief and texture to their work. 


July 23

12:00 (8-12 years old) – Ceramics (Fidan Humbatli)

This workshop dedicated to ceramics will allow participants to immerse themselves in the creative process and get new emotions and feelings. During the workshop, children will create a clay product and paint on their creations.


July 30

12:00 (8-12 years old) – The taste of summer (Gunel Ravilova)

The workshop will help you create summer still-life and develop the drawing skills from nature. Children will draw a melon or watermelon on canvas and give liveliness and texture to the image using natural seeds. Feel the true taste of summer in our workshop!
