YARAT Contemporary Art Space is pleased to announce that, as a result of a one-month workshop led by Egyptian artist and musician Salam Yousry a theatrical piece based on personal stories and songs has been produced collectively by a group of aspiring young artists and writers,none of whom have ever performed on stage before.
The course, entitled 'From the Individual to the Collective', has helped the participants to raise their awareness of how their everyday experiences could be translated into a play or film. This course also made them conscious of their potential as writers, actors and producers of their own artistic work. All are welcome to attend the final performance on Tuesday 6th May 2014 at the International Mugham Center in Baku.
