FILM CLUB: EMIL GULIYEV’S FILM CURTAIN

YARAT Contemporary Art Centre is delighted to invite you to the screening of 'Curtain', directed by Emil Guliyev produced by Art Film Baku. The screening will be organized as a part of YARAT Film Club which aims to become an informal meeting point for the viewing and discussion of contemporary art videos and films.

The wedding day of Lala, planned by her father, is approaching.

Emil who is hopelessly in love with her, has to act promptly and by luck Lala father leaves the city for several days in order to make preparations for the wedding. Emil decides to ask Zaur to help him to run away with Lala.

Zaur has a dilemma – what to choose: his father, traditions, prestige in society or his desire to help his friend and save his sister from the same fate to which he was doomed.
