FILM CLUB: FILM GIZIL TOY BY 'QN' CHILDREN FILM SCHOOL’S

YARAT Contemporary Art Space is delighted to invite you to the screening of “Gizil Toy”, made by the students of the “QN” Children's Film School. This is another opportunity to address your comments and questions to the film director and take part in a discussion.

The main aim of the first children's film school, which operates approximately a year is to give Azerbaijan film industry little professionals. The activity of the Children’s Film School is not only about getting familiar with film industry, It also includes writing scenario and make up. 

Children’s Film School offers the number of subjects such as: acting coached by the honored actor Parviz Mammadrzayev and actress Yana Nikitina, journalism-Felix Visnevetski, producing – Vugar Aliyev, the history of movies – Nasimi Aliyev, music – Medina Babayeva, psychology – Yegana Kalantarli, camera operator work – Nijat Farajev (previously Nadir Mehdiyev), stage direction-Samir Kerimoglu, mounting-Rashad Manafov ,Elona Artamonova, dance – Ellada Suleymanova, decoration – Mammadaga Hajibeyov, costume preparation – Aygun Mahmudova and others.

Animation and practice goes under the guidance of Qalib Mirzaliyev 

Many companies at the time of castion apply to Children’s Film School.

The graduates of the Children’s Film School act not only in several films, but also in commercials and acted in films such as “Gizil Toy” and “Birleshme” 

The representative of the New York Film Academy John Newman at the time of his visit to Baku also was at Children’s Film School and underlined the absence of such schools abroad. At the end he mentioned the importance of work the Children’s Film School does and wished success to creative staff
