FILM CLUB: DAVIT PIRTSKHALAVA’S FILM FATHER

YARAT Contemporary Art Space is delighted to invite you to the screening of “Father”, a short film by Davit Pirstkhalava. This is another opportunity to address your comments and questions to the film director and take part in a discussion.

Lado is nineteen when his father comes back home unexpectedly after a very long absence. The young man desperately tries to get some answers from his parent, but in vain. When his father leaves again, Lado goes back to his life of crime, together with his younger brother. He is left to answer the questions their father would not hear.

Cast: Sandro Kalandadze, Mamuka Kiladze, Vakho Chachanidze, Mariam Maglaperidze, Zviad Pirtskhalava.

The film was included in the official selection of 68th Locarno Film Festival.

The film will be shown in Georgian with English subtitles.
