YARAT LITERATURE NIGHT: BANNY ROGERS POEMS

YARAT Contemporary Art Centre is launching a series of book reading events with a goal to discover young authors and support their outstanding work.
This Thursday we cordially invite you to the book reading event where a young Azerbaijani writer and actress Gulay Huseynova will present her poems and will recite poems by her American counterpart Bunny Rogers.
Gulay Huseynova (b. 1989) is a writer, actress and radio host who mainly writes in Turkish. Gulay graduated from Baku Slavianski University where she majored in Russian language and literature. She lives and works in Baku, Azerbaija.
Bunny Rogers (b. 1990) is an artist, poet and performer who explores the themes of teenage anger and anti-social behavior. Bunny was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Bunny’s work is featured in “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” group show at YARAT Contemporary Art Centre.
