YARAT Contemporary Art Space invite you to the presentation of the movie “Salt pepper to taste” directed by Teymur Hajiyev (Azerbaijan) in frames of YARAT Film Club.

A lonely woman lives with her daughter and son.
They live under one roof, but their thoughts are scattered. A decision has to be made to put their lives in order, but neither of them is willing to share their pain.
Teymur Hajiyev (b. 1982, Baku, Azerbaijan) has BSc in Economic Cybernetics from Baku State University and MBA in Marketing from West Texas A&M University. Before coming into cinematic realm worked as Marketing Director within various commercial entities in Azerbaijan.
In 2013 established FIL PRODUCTION, which up to now produced more than a dozen short films, four of them having an international festival presence including TORN, which was premiered at the Quinzaine des Realisateurs of Cannes Film Festival (2014).
Same year he finished his first short film “The Wound”, which was premiered at Palm Springs ShortFest, USA and was admitted to the Locarno Summer Academy.
In 2016 Teymur’s second feature short film “Shanghai, Baku” was premiered at Tampere Film Festival, Finland (21 film festivals, 3 prizes all over the world in total).
In 2018 completed his third short film “salt, pepper to taste” (to be premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam 2019).
