We started Little YARAT Master classes!
Program for February:
February 4 – 12:00 (Age: 4-8)
Topic: " Partial description"
Tutor: Aida Azimova
YARAT Centre
The master class in the frame of the group exhibition "The Equinox" will be based on individualism and collectivism. Participants will first use adhesive tape to create various forms on cardboard. Then each participant will paint the artwork and finish it by removing tape.
February 10 – 12:00 (Age: 8-12)
Theme: "The opposite of abstraction"
Tutor: Rufana Mamedova
Museum of Azerbaijani Painting of the XX-XXI centuries
The participants of the master class together with artist Rufana Mamedova will create abstract works by throwing painted balloons on the canvases.
February 11 – 12:00 (4-8 years old)
Theme: "Self-portrait"
Tutor: Rufana Mamedova

In the master class, the participants will depict their self-portraits using the mirror.
February 17 – 12:00 (8-12 years old)
Theme: "Lines"
Tutor: Nazrin Agamaliyeva
Museum of Azerbaijani Painting of the XX-XXI centuries
The "Hadis" animation film drawn by artists and director Nazrin Aghamaliyeva is a participant in many international film festivals. First of all, the participants of the master class will watch the animated film with the author. Then they will choose various characters from the animation and create them as an artwork.
February 18 – 12:00 (4-8 years old)
Theme: "Horses of Karabakh"
Tutor: Nazrin Agamaliyeva
YARAT Centre
The master class based on the concept of the “Danger Cleared: No Mines!” exhibition will cover the theme of Karabakh fauna. Together with the artist and film director Nazrin Aghamaliyeva, the participants will create postcards depicting Karabakh horses.
February 24 – 12:00 (8-12 years old)
Topic: "Motives of Absheron"
Tutor: Atika Aliyeva
Museum of Azerbaijani Painting of the XX-XXI centuries
In the master class, the participants will describe Absheron's motifs after viewing the exhibition "Between the Earth and the Sky" by the Farhad Khalilov at the Museum of Azerbaijani Painting of the XX-XXI centuries.
February 25 – 12:00 (8-12 years old)
Topic: "Think of what you love"
Tutor: Fatima Yusifova
YARAT Centre
The master class will be based on Koka Ramishvili's documentary film "People Think About Love", shown at "The Equinox" group exhibition. After watching the film, the participants will close their eyes and think about love, then together with the tutor Fatima Yusifova, they will create paintings about their thoughts.
