OPEN CALL! ARTIM LAB 2019 > 2020

YARAT Contemporary Art Space presents ARTIM Lab project – a yearlong studio practice and workshops for people of 18 – 30 years old.

A proven artistic practice or enrolment in an art school or academy is a requirement.

GOAL
• The main goal is to give an opportunity to engage in contemporary forms of art through experimental practices
• To try out different media and artistic strategies
• The capacity of verbalizing the idea of the work

YARAT PROVIDES
• Shared studio at YARAT Studios throughout duration of the training program
• Consistent dialogue with YARAT’s curatorial team
• Extracurricular activities (meeting the artist and etc.)
• 4 studio presentations and one final show at ARTIM Project Space
• A limited budget for the final show will be foreseen 

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS
• Commitment investing in theory and knowledge through YARAT Academy and engage into daily studio practice, generate new ideas and produce works
• At least 3 hours daily studio practice 
• Friday, 4 pm – 9 pm and Saturday 10 am – 4 pm conversations, workshops, lectures with artists, curators, international residents and mentors
• Take part in all of YARAT Academy lecture blocks (March-April, October-November each Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7 pm)
• Each of them will have to produce 4 body of works for 4 studio presentations accordingly. Production cost will be covered by participants
