YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites you to be a part of YARAT Academy 2017.

Description

The second  block of YARAT ACADEMY will be focused on the study of curatorial practices around the globe. 

Along with the series of lectures by world class curators, the participants will get hands on experience working on building their own curatorial projects. The curriculum also involves the engagement with local artists and studio visits.  

Course provides

• Engagement with high class art experts 
• Practical learning experience
• Pictorial guidelines through each lecture
• Supporting text materials for each lecture
• Studio visits and discussions with local artists
• Informal networking sessions
• Completion certificates  

*Lectures with be simultaneously translated into Azerbaijani

*Classes will take place at YARAT Contemporary Art Centre, every Wednesday and Friday at 19:00

Tuition fee: Per lecture – 5 AZN; total for course – 55 AZN (*40 AZN upon registering 3 days in advance)

Jérôme Sans – The former director of the ground breaking Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing and co-founder of the acclaimed Palais de Tokyo, Paris, France

Olesa Ostrovska – The director of Mystetskyi Arsenal, Kiev, Ukraine
