LITTLE YARAT: FREEZING EVERYWHERE WORKSHOP WITH ILAYA GULIYEVA

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites you to join “Freezing everywhere” workshop by Ilaya Guliyeva, professional theatre director and drama teacher, on sundays of February and March 2016.
Students of 6 - 15 years will work on improving their acting skills, fantasy and imagination through a range of exercises. Participants will improve their understanding of how to create a well-rounded character and will learn to express themselves through different media including performance, drawing and dance.
Workshop organised by YARAT Contemporary Art Space in frame Little YARAT project for familiy and children every weekend.
‘Little YARAT’ aimed at school age children through to teenagers. Little Yarat is a playful arts platform for young people that enables them to get involved in YARAT’s workshops and interact with local and guest artists. Each unique workshop is inspired by individual artist’s respective practices and provides a window into art making through play. Activities range from traditional painting & drawing to more creative workshops such as new media exploration making cameraless films, street photography and fashion and art collaborations.
Ilaya Guliyeva is a director/actress/dancer and tutor with more than 10 years of professional experience. She currently teaches drama classes and is responsible for event management at Oxford School, Baku. She also delivers small scale independent projects in collaboration with other public/private schools and Foundations in Baku.
