ONE DAY WORKSHOP WITH DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER LISA LEEMAN (USA)

YARAT Contemporary Art Space presents a workshop by American film director and producer Lisa Leeman on February 10, 2017.

Workshop organised in frame of YARAT FreeStyle in collaboration with The Embassy of United States of America.

This workshop will be open to professional and amateur filmmakers.

The event organised in frame of YARAT Freestyle project, an open platform for everyone who looks to engage creatively with a broad and diverse audience. 

YARAT FREESTYLE aims to set up a scene for creative groups and individuals and is open to actors, dancers, performance artists, musicians and other cultural practitioners. Anyone with a project or an idea can reach out to us.

Lisa Leeman (USA) writes, directs, produces, & edits documentary films. Her current film AWAKE: The Life of Yogananda, co-directed with Paola di Florio, premiered to sold-out crowds at the Seattle Film Festival in May, 2014. It won the Audience Award at the Illuminate Film Festival, and the Spirit of Cinema Award at the Maui Film Festival. Lisa’s last film, the award-winning One Lucky Elephant, premiered to sold-out crowds at the Los Angeles Film Festival, 2010, and continued to sell out screenings at festivals like IDFA, St. Louis, and the Starz Denver Film Festival.
