READING CLUB WITH AZER EFENDI

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites all literature lovers and fans to “Literature Night” on 28 September, 2016. In the framework of our "Reading Club" we will host Azer Efendi, a writer and author of opera libretto.

Azer Efendi is author of “Literary Azerbaijan” magazine with vast experience and also is writer of libretto: “Daykokuya Kodayu” opera (composer – F. Huseynov), “The little Prince” musical (based upon by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s book, composer F. Huseynov) and “All coming back” ballet ( composer R. Shafaq).

Also he is famous for his ballade for “Time doesn’t wait” based upon by J. London’s book (composer F. Karayev, Belarusfilm).

In 2014 Azer Efendi received an award for his contribution to Russian language in Azerbaijani literature.
