YARAT Contemporary Art Centre is delighted to invite you to the screening of The icon of the Season by Fuad Ibragimbekov and Sergey Shvidkoy.

The drama “The icon of the season” of Fuad Ibragimbekov and Sergey Shvidkoy based on the play “Flies” by Olga Mukhina. Starring Yekaterina Klimova, Yevgeniy Chiganov, Pavel Barshak, Alexander Ratnikov, Yevgeniya Osipova, Aleksey Barabash.

The movie is set in an imaginary city and tells the story of successful people who talk a lot about love though none of them is able to feel it truly. DJs, producers, actors, TV presenters live in their own world, which suits their financial capacities. But at one point, one of them begins to feel horrified as he thinks he is going to die very soon. From that moment on his ordinary life starts to collapse showing him the real world where he has to pay for his mistakes. Now he has to sort out his feelings, because his future is at stake.
