YARAT FILM CLUB RAMIL AGASIYEV’S FILM CHASING YOUR DREAM

YARAT Contemporary Art Space are pleased to invite you to a next meeting of the Film Club which has already turned into an informal meeting point for discussion of contemporary cinematograph. We invite you to watch a short film “Chasing Your Dream” of Ramil Agasiyev, Azerbaijan director 26 January 2016.

Kamil, who is abandoned by his father when he was a child, lives his lonely life. Kamil, working at his small photo studio, is distant towards people and his only consolation is passing acquaintances. Untimely illness turns Kamil’s unplanned life upside down. His girlfriend leaves him in this situation. Kamal at the hospital, where he learns that he is ill with cancer, meets Arzu and this meeting becomes the beginning of a new life. Arzu, who is married, also fights against this deadly disease. Arzu runs into Kamil at the hospital and accidentally takes the results of his tests to her house. Arzu, whose dreams are ruined, decides to hide the disease from her husband. There is one more feature which unites these two young people who try to understand each other and their current situation at their first meeting. They have endless dreams they want to pursue. Arzu wants to avoid the meeting as she is married but she intuitively desires to realize her dreams. Kamil and Arzu decide to live for each other’s dreams before they die.
