ARTIM PROJECT SPACE: TALK WITH ARCHITECT AND URBAN PLANNER FUAD JAFARLI

ARTIM Project Space is pleased to invite you for a talk with architect and urban planner Fuad Jafarli.
The talk will revolve around the architectural history of Baku, styles that shape the visage of the city, predominant trends and how these have changed throughout time.
The event is held as part of the To Be Surprised, To Surprise group show. The exhibition is a result of the workshop with artist Sergey Bratkov that dealt with urban locations around Baku and offers young Azerbaijani artists’ reflections on those spaces.
Fuad Jafarli - specialist for planning of the city and public transportation. He received an education in Massachusetts Institute of Technology Urban and Regional Planning. In different years he worked in Baku, the Regional Development Plan, project Director in various organizations and consulting companies of city planning, Urbanization and Policy on the Caucasus at the University lecturer, public transport, system optimization, city on projects worked. He is the author of several books and studies.
