WEEKLY TALK: TEYMUR SEIDBEYLI

This summer “YARAT” Contemporary Art Centre established a platform for discussion of its permanent collection and current exhibitions. We will organize weekly meetings with artists, writers, musicians, researchers, businessmen and public figures during these series of events.


You’re invited to join a talk by Teymur Seidbayli, an acclaimed musician and composer. 


Teymur Seidbayli (b. in 1990 in Baku) is a sax player, composer and music arranger. His father, Akif Suleymanzade, is a sax player and People’s artist of Azerbaijan Republic. His mother, Tatiana Suleymanbayli, is a piano teacher.

In 1996, Teymur was admitted to the Secondary Musical School named after Bul-Bul where he first learned to play clarinet, but later went on to study sax. Upon graduation, Teymur was accepted to the Baku State Musical Academy, the department of performing arts. Ever since his early youth, Teymur was involved in numerous musical projects.

He continues to collaborate with such musical crews as “Rast”, “Gaya” or Variety Symphonic Orchestra etc. He represented his country in USA, France, Switzerland, Russian Federation and Ukraine. He also toured to almost every region of our country. 

Teymur Seibayli is currently working on his solo album.
