WEEKLY TALK: YANA NIKITINA

YARAT Contemporary Art Space established a platform for discussion of its permanent collection and current exhibitions. We will organize weekly meetings with artists, writers, musicians, researchers, businessmen and public figures during these series of events.


You’re invited to join a talk by an actress and TV presenter Yana Nikitina.


Yana Nikitina graduated from the faculty of Philology of the Slavic University. Philologist. Actress. She starred in 6 feature films and 2 TV shows, worked in the theater and on television. Became widely known thanks to her performance in "Parni iz Baku" KVN team. Currently works as a casting director and the second director in Russian TV series and movies.

She worked as a casting director in 2011, and in 2013 as the second director in the post-production stage of the film "Do be afraid, I am with you! 1919" by Yuli Gusman.  

Winner of KVN Summer Cup (1995), the champion of the tournament of the best ten teams of the XX century (2000).
