YARAT Contemporary Art Space is delighted to invites you to the screening of russian director Vladimir Beldian's short film The Buzzing of the Bumblebee. This is another opportunity to address your comments and questions to the film director and take part in a discussion.

An old woman is dying in a nursing home. She makes three wishes: to eat pudding, to listen a little chorus and bumblebee buzzing outside the window. It will be difficult to arrange all this, but she wants it so much...

Vladimir Beldian is an actor, director and script writer from Moldova. In 2008, he graduated from the Boris Shukin Theatre Institute, Moscow (faculty of acting). In 2011, he embarked on a creative quest that brought him to the theatre directing department under the supervision of Rimas Tuminas. In 2016, his diploma work The death of at actor based on A.P. Chekhov’s play was presented on the new stage as a part of the Workshop by Rimas Tuminas program. In 2015, Vladimir Beldian has presented his first short feature film The buzzing of the bumblebee.

The film will be shown in Russian with English subtitles.
