WEEKLY TALKS: POST SOVIET VISUAL CULTURE

YARAT Contemporary Art Space and ARTLOGOS Club invites you to take part in our next Weekly talk sessions. This session will be based on YARAT’s Suns and Neons above Kazakhstan upcoming show.
The discussion will focus on post-Soviet visual culture (case study of Azerbaijani and Kazakhi artists).
The following topics will be explored:
- Space as a creation of idealistic mind.
- National and cultural identity in the period of independence.
- New artistic language of expression.
- Art as a way forming cultural identity.
- Art as a source of cultural illusions of modern life.
The discussion will be facilitated by a group of experts that includes:
