FILM CLUB: EKATERINA TELEGINA’S FILM THE HABIT OF BREAKING UP

24 Jan 17

YARAT Contemporary Art Space is delighted to invite you to the screening of “The Habit of Breaking up”, a film directed by Yekaterina Telegina (Russia).

The Habit of Breaking up / 2013 / Russia / 90 min / Drama / Colour

“A habit of breaking up” is a story of a girl who knows that to have a short glimpse of happiness you need to walk a huge distance. We’re always torn by self-contradictions and doubts, unable to tell why we break with the people we love and the people who love us back. Why do we not have a freedom to stop in this journey and settle down? We can ask ourselves a thousand questions. We can ask those questions to people we used to be close to. But we do it all in order to find our real self.

Ekaterina Telegina is a film director and actress.

Ekaterina was born in Omsk and graduated from the faculty of Art and Culture at Omsk State Humanitarian University named after F.M. Dostoyevski.

In 2004, she graduated from Internews School of Film and Television.

In 2009, she graduated from film directing department of Russian State Institute of Cinematography (a class led by V. Hotinenko and V. Fenchenko).
