YARAT Contemporary Art Space presents Yard Art, Farkhad Hagverdi's public installation project, from 24th June 2013 at 17:00.
Yard Art looks to the most private, neglected, but well-used space in Baku - the backyard, and artistically overhauls it. Painting and using graphics in a number of backyards, Hagverdiyev intends to provoke public action: while the city evolves rapidly around Baku’s residents and the government invests in public facades, this project targets the personal space of daily life and empowers people to improve it.
Address: 8 Gizil Sherq Street, Yasamal District, near Azerbaijan State Pedagogic College.
