YARAT to Participate in Cold Hands, Warm Heart Charity Event

Prior to the New Year holidays, YARAT Contemporary Art Space will participate in the Cold Hands, Warm Heart Charity Fair, organised by Nargis Magazine.

Fountain Square in Baku will host the fair from 13th to 20th December, in which every visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere and purchase genuine souvenirs and sweets by Jan Atelier, Lilac, Carrousel, Ali & Nino and other well-known brands. YARAT, a local non-profit organisation and contemporary art promoter for two years, will present a handicraft souvenirs selection by emerging Azerbaijani artists. All revenues from sales will go to charity.

Ms. Ulviyya Rahmanova, senior editor of Nargis Magazine, accompanied by guest star Miri Yusif and gifted children from deaf-and-dumb asylum #3 will open the event. Fair organisers will display handicrafts made by children for sale. Besides souvenirs and refreshments, fair attendees can take the opportunity of a signature session by some mahor Azerbaijani writers and enjoy adult  and children's entertainment, including meeting Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden.

Every day from 12:00, fair visitors will enjoy listening to Christmas hits, drinking hot chocolate and participating in entertainment, orgainised by Nargis Magazine's partners.

On Friday 20th December, the grand finale will be held. During the closing session every attendant will get the chance to win a plethora of prizes through a lottery by the partners of Nargis Magazine. Lottery prizes include two tickets to the concert of Emin Agalarov and the grand prize is a holiday to Dubai and accommodation at a five-star hotel, donated by Pasha Travel.

Ms. Miroslava Duma, the world-famous style icon, will be the guest star of the event. She will attend the fair in anticipation of the launch of the Azerbaijani version of Buro 24/7, a renowned fashion website.
