FILM CLUB: WORKSHOP DAY WITH OKTAY MIRKASIMOV

YARAT Contemporary Art Space invited to attend a workshop by Oqtay Mirqasimov “Improvisation as a way to discover your creative self”, which will take place in frames of Film Club projects.

Oqtay Mirqasimov is a film director and member of the Union of FIlmakers, Union of Writers and Union of Artists of Azerbaijan Republic. As the head of the Filmmaking department at the University of Art and Culture, he’s been coaching a young generation of filmmakers for the last 20 years. His students have successful career in film and on television, they take part in festivals and received awards, including some prestigious international prizes.

Oqtay Mirqasimov’s films were screened in France, Italy, Turkey, Mongolia, Poland, Hungary, Israel and Japan.

Our guest speaker will bring his expertise and knowledge to help you write your own story and try to stage a short performance during the workshop.
